Island Banjol
This is one of our most beautiful dive spots. In the shallower areas you can find the entrance to a cave with a big chimney-like opening towards the sky. At a depth of 12 m, another cave and a cavern can be found which are easy to dive through. The walls in the caves and caverns are covered in beautiful and colourful sponges. Here you can find many scorpion fish and occasionally conger eels and lobsters. John dories can be found at a depth of 26 to 30 m along a small interesting wall. At a depth of 16 m descending with a rope, you can find the statue of St. Eufemija, the well known protector of Rovinj. This place is also suitable for snorkeling.
