Plantation Pinnacle is a great spot for both beginners and more experienced scuba divers. Beginners are able to explore the top of the bommie at depths of about 6 to 10 metres, while the more experienced divers can explore the depths (about 25 metres). Conditions here are usually easy- you can do several circuits, some swimthroughs then slowly ascend up the sides. It’s a great spot for snorkelling too. At the base there are black Coral trees with resident longnose hawkfish and small fans and soft vorals coat the sides. At the top, the macro life is particularly interesting with nudibranchs and starfish, masses of anemoes and slowns, leaffish and morays.
