Mnemba Atoll is the most famous Conservation area in Zanzibar. It consists of a seven by four kilometers reef, containing the tiny Mnemba Island. Visibility in Mnemba Atoll is usually great with an average of 10 to 30 meters.

Kichwani dive site is a gentle sloping wall covered in soft corals. The reef starts at 2 m and goes down to 30 m, creating a beautiful coral wall. Started at Kichwani is the wall five meter to 20 meter you may see gruper fish sharks dolfin and much more fish. Kichwani is home to many schools of reef fish in a myriad of colours, which makes this Mnemba dive site suitable for snorkellers too.
