Ultra Marine Divers
Ultra Marine Divers is a personal, family-style scuba diving team serving guests staying in Punta Cana, Bávaro and Cap Cana. We collect our divers from their resort and travel to the beautiful Caribbean diving areas around Bayahibe, Saona Island and Catalina Island.
Our focus is personal service, safe diving and relaxed planning. We dive in small groups with a maximum of four divers per instructor or guide. Every dive plan is matched to your certification, recent experience, comfort level and the diving conditions.
Certified divers can explore Bayahibe’s reefs and wrecks, Saona Island, Catalina Island’s famous Wall and Aquarium, and guided cavern or cave-diving experiences for appropriately certified divers. Bayahibe half-day trips operate daily. Saona Island is normally scheduled on Mondays and Fridays, while Catalina Island is normally scheduled on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
For beginners and continuing education, we offer Discover Scuba Diving, Open Water Diver, Advanced Open Water Diver, Rescue Diver with EFR, Divemaster and instructor-level training. We also offer selected specialties, including Wreck, Deep, Peak Performance Buoyancy and Drift. Training is personal, professional and adapted to each student’s pace.
Standard scuba equipment, tanks and weights are available. Hotel pickup and return transportation from Punta Cana and Bávaro are included with our main diving programs.
Our instructors communicate in English, German and Spanish. Whether it is your first breath underwater, a relaxing Caribbean diving holiday or the next step in your scuba education, the Ultra Marine Divers team will help you create an unforgettable experience that fits your level and travel plans.

Brilliant dives, Brilliant organisation, Brilliant team
I had six wonderful diving experiences with Ultra Marine Divers. From the first contact months ago, communication and organisation was perfect. Transport was organised by the centre from my hotel, and again, I was always fully informed ahead of time. They made sure that I did not repeat any dives when I was there, which is not always the case. On two of the days that I dived, my instructor had a GoPro to take photos. What was incredibly refreshing was that these pictures were sent over to me for free, whereas many centres charge for this service.
On all of the dives, I was lucky enough to be with Enrique. His patience, expertise and support made all the experiences stress free and fun. He explained all the dives with clarity, and also gave information about the area that we were diving in.
We are already discussing a return to Dominican Republic in the future. When we do, I shall certainly contact Ultra Marine Divers for more dives.
Everythin was perfect
The experience was excellent and everything met my full satisfaction. I booked an Open Water PADI course and completed the training with Alfredo. The atmosphere was very relaxed, the material was explained clearly and patiently, and overall it was a lot of fun.

The instructor was very gentle and accommodating for us beginners. We were the only English speakers so we got the chance to have a private instructor. The boat ride, the people, the dive, everything was amazing!
