Shams Safaga House Reef

The Shams Safaga House Reef, situated along Egypt’s Red Sea coast, offers a captivating underwater experience for both divers and snorkelers.

Reef Overview

Accessible directly from the beach via the resort’s private marina, the reef begins with a seagrass area where visitors might encounter the resident turtle, Henriette. Underwater signs guide explorers to two main reef sections, each teeming with diverse marine life and reaching depths of up to 18 meters (59 feet). Surrounding these primary reefs are numerous smaller coral blocks, providing additional habitats for a variety of sea creatures.

The reef hosts a vibrant array of marine species, including colorful reef fish, turtles, and occasionally dolphins. The combination of seagrass meadows and coral formations supports a rich biodiversity, making every dive or snorkel session a unique experience
