We dive in private small groups, maximum 4 divers per dive guide and bring you to the best Scuba Diving Dominican Republic, Punta Cana in 2021 divespots. You tell us what you would like to do, and we put your wishes into practice. We understand that you are on vacation. That is why we do not have a dive schedule. Why not just go diving every second day and visit the islands Catalina or Saona. No problem! We are looking for your holiday plan. We want your holiday to be an unforgettable experience.
Diving is a type of recreational activity which is becoming increasingly popular because it allows you to enter in a new and fascinating world filled with unforgettable memories and experiences. Diving also gives the feeling of being far away from everything you always wanted to leave behind.To get to know this feeling, it is important and necessary to get a good dive-education before you start diving. This training is given by us; our instructors speak German, English and Spanish, diving courses are the safe and professional introduction to the fascinating underwater world.

The instructor was very gentle and accommodating for us beginners. We were the only English speakers so we got the chance to have a private instructor. The boat ride, the people, the dive, everything was amazing!

Ein Tauchschein in Bayahibe - nach deutschem Qualitätsstandard
Im Dezember 2025 haben wir Udo‘s Tauchschule in Bayahibe besucht, um unseren OWD-Tauchschein zu machen.
Die Organisation im Vorfeld war mustergültig. Nicht nur, dass er blitzschnell auf unsere Fragen reagierte. Auch der Transfer von Bavarò nach Bayahibe war gut organisiert und klappte reibungslos.
In der Tauchschule angekommen haben wir uns sofort gut verstanden. Udo‘s trockener Humor und seine nahbare Art, als hätten wir uns zuvor schon gekannt, hat den Praxisteil des Tauchscheins sehr unkompliziert gemacht.
Udo begleitete uns bei jedem Tauchgang samt Equipment zum nahen Hafen und holte uns dort auch wieder ab. Die Tauchgänge selbst hatten wir mit Harald, der das super gemacht hat.
Sobald Udo und Harald aufeinandertrafen, wurde es doppelt lustig. Wir haben die Zeit mit beiden sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder!
Excellent diving experience
I went diving with my daughter (14 years old – PADI Open Water certified) with Udo and Sarah. I went to St. George and then to Atlantic Princess. My daughter couldn’t go to Saint George because she hasn’t taken the advanced course yet. But that wasn’t a problem, she dived with Sarah at another dive site about 50 meters from St. George (the name of the site is Dominicus reef). We dived together at Atlantic Princess. The water is very clean and warm (we are used to diving in Arraial do Cabo with 5mm wetsuits – here we used 3mm short Johns and our impression is that we didn’t need any neoprene at all – the water was 28 to 31°C). Visibility was 20m. The team was extremely attentive to my daughter. I am very grateful and recommend Ultra Marine Divers to everyone.
PS: avoid diving on the north side of the island. Udo himself told me this. I had dived on the north side before diving with Udo and commented to him that I thought it was quite rough. He told me that he lives in the north but doesn’t dive there precisely because the diving conditions are not good.
I made the right choice
I was anxious trying to find the right place and people to dive with on my vacation. Therecare alot of options. Udo and his crew were exceptional! The equipment was in great shape, everything was right on time. No hassel transport. Two great dives, tons of life, big rays, two wrecks. Udo even took pictures for me at no charge! 5 out of 5 stars! Ill be back!! Thank you Udo!

Great experience! From the transfer to the diving everything perfect, small groups, the instructors (Udo, Harland and Paula) where all excellent very easy going but Aldo extremelly profesionals.
Steilwand am Tauchplatz - The Wall
Wir waren an vier Tauchplätzen unterwegs – den lokalen Spots Dominicus Reef und Guavapoo bei Bayahibe sowie The Wall und Aquarium nahe der Isla Catalina. Die Bedingungen waren top: etwa 20 Meter Sichtweite und angenehm warme Wassertemperaturen.
Meine Freundin hat während unseres Aufenthalts ihren OWD absolviert, und das Team von Ultramarine Divers rund um Udo und unseren Guide Harald hat uns dabei hervorragend begleitet und alles perfekt organisiert.
Mein persönliches Highlight war die Steilwand am Tauchplatz “The Wall” – auf der einen Seite das farbenfrohe Riff mit vielen bunten Fischen, auf der anderen das unendliche Blau der Tiefe.
Wenn wir wieder in die Dominikanische Republik reisen, werden wir definitiv erneut mit Ultramarine Divers tauchen. Besonders praktisch: Die Guides sprechen Spanisch, Englisch und Deutsch.
Fantastic dive outfit
Fantastic dive outfit in Bayahibe, Dominican Republic. Picked me up from my hotel every morning over in Punta Cana. Excellent instructions & equipment. Big thanks to Udo the boss for organising everything, and to Harald my great instructior for my Rescue Diver course. Also shout out to Stefan & Aki for all your support. I totally recommend this team & this company .
