Dove with Ultra Marine divers to Catalina island as a very novice recreational open water diver.
Booking process was very smooth – Udo was very responsive on WhatsApp and answered all questions quickly and succinctly.
Their program is very efficiently run – pickup & drop-off at my resort in Punta Cana area. The boat is large, comfortable and fast – we made it to our first dive site quickly (about 20-25 minutes). The team had all our gear ready as soon as we arrived so we were able to get in the water immediately. Each guide had a small group – 3 people in mine. The trip to our second dive site was very short – 10 minutes and again, the team had swapped tanks during that time and so there was no waiting around once we arrived. Marine life was super cool – we saw a turtle, octopus, and rays.
Highly recommend Ultra Marine Divers if you’re in Punta Cana and are looking to dive in the Bayahibe area.
